Don’t waste a moment

We recently lost two grandmothers in the space of just over two months.  My grandmother died of cancer after a very long and impressive battle of 17 years at the young age of 75 years.  My husband’s grandmother passed after having a very unexpected brain bleed and a few excruciating days for us of waiting for her body to join her soul.  She was 89 years old.

Both grandmothers remembered.  Tulip for my husband’s and snowman for mine.

I don’t have a long post here as I am still easy to burst into a waterworks feature and begin to melt spectacularly.  And it seems once I start my trigger is there for the rest of the day. Don’t look at me sideways, kid…. I might break.

All I want to say is don’t waste a moment.  Don’t forget to hug.  Don’t forget to love and share your love audibly and passionately, loud and clear.  Now is the time to live.  Now is the time to dance.  Now is the time to embrace your faith.  Don’t wait until tomorrow.  You never know when your time is up.

It’s painfully clear to us at the moment, that no matter how long we have together it is not enough on this earth.  Thank God for heaven. xx

  1. Sad and so sorry for your losses…I recently lost my 62 yr old husband, and all I can say for comfort to you is that I am journeying through day by day leaning on my Lord Jesus Christ, and He is ever faithful. Blessings to you and yours during these difficult days.
