Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow!

I mentioned in my last post that we recently celebrated Christmas in July.  This is always a fun few days for us as we get all of our favorite Christmas movies out, do lots of crafts, and hang out as a family.  Hubby tries to take a couple of days off work so we can really celebrate in style.

Anytime an excuse to celebrate, craft, or bake comes up I love to jump on Pinterest and see what’s new.  This year I discovered Play Snow. We decided to try it out this ‘Christmas’ and it was a hit with both of the kids!  I have also been really impressed with how well it stores in an airtight container!  We made it on the 25th July and it is still going strong.  If it dries out a little bit, just add a little more conditioner!

It’s cool to the touch, firm enough to build a snow man and smells divine!

As a bonus, if you do drop a little on the floor, it’s no big deal.  It is pretty much a ready made carpet freshener as it only consists of baking soda and conditioner.  Just vacuum it up.

    1. We don’t get any here!! We can travel a few hours and get to it but our winter consists mostly of rain. This was a good substitute for now. 😉

      1. Yup, good clean fun without the cold or long drive! We used to live in a region where winters were overcast/rainy. Now we live where winters are snowy/ferocious, yet mostly sunny 🙂 ♥ ❤
