We have had a busy few weeks… here’s a little bit of what we have been up to:
We started working on a new pond for the yard.
We had an amazing over-the-top, way-too-much-food brunch to celebrate Father’s Day.
This resulted in a challenge to see who could actually get their burgers in their mouth… easier said than done!
More Father’s Day fun – we spent the afternoon at our local Museum.
And of course on Father’s Day there must be pie! This is a high crust lemon meringue, I recreated my recipe found at Sunshine and Lemons but made it in a springform tin to achieve the deeper crust.
Spring began to arrive, so we planted seeds. Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Red Pepper, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Basil and Parsley to come, hopefully…
Someone stole my phone… hehehe.
And then the rain came again, so time for painting and science! We did a simple experiment to look at clouds and how rain is formed. You can find how to do it, here.
Hope y’all have been having fun, too!
xx
Thanks for the tip, I went and checked out the rain cloud experiment!

Awesome, I found a really cool tornado in a jar project, too. Have you seen it? If not, I will find it and post it for ya.

Thank you, but one of my kids did that at school and taught the rest of us. It is so cool too.
